Meet Rick
I have lived in Olympia since 1976 and I loved growing up in this great community. I graduated from Olympia HS in 1987 and began working in the hospitality industry and worked my way to management and operations in restaurants and hotels. This profession taught me a great deal in providing excellent customer service, work ethic and professionalism.
My real estate career began in 2003 and I believe I have found my profession for life. I have always had a passion for architecture and design and have realized that my background in hospitality created a hard working, honest real estate agent with exceptional customer service.
I have been married since 1995 and my wife Allison and I have two kids (Max & Sara) who also live in the area. My family and I enjoy camping, paddle boarding, biking, snow-skiing, boating and enjoying all that the great Northwest has to offer.

As a new addition to the Virgil Adams team, I’m excited by the opportunity of working with prospective clients and showing them our community that I enjoy calling home. A lifelong resident of Olympia, I truly appreciate what the greater Puget Sound area has to offer. Having a close-knit group of family and friends spread throughout the area, I am uniquely familiar with many of our neighborhoods and natural areas.
Coming from a background in customer service & management experience, I truly enjoy meeting new people and have made many new friends along the way. I am friendly, relatable, and believe my ability to form true and honest relationships will continue and blossom in my real estate career.
When I’m not working, you will most likely find me not far from a soccer pitch, either playing or watching it with my dad or friends. I love to cook, travel, and enjoy spending time with my partner Kirin and our cat Nala.
